This has been an on-going side project for the ExpressionEngine CMS, which
UCSD uses for
many of its sites.
I implemented this feature: whenever a user (usually the content writer) saves a new non-embargoed press release entry, an email that includes the information of the entry will be sent to a mailing list immediately. In the case of an embargoed entry, an email will be sent to the mailing list according to the future date and time indicated.

FamilyFriendly is a front-end-only web app that aims to enhance the activities among family members. We observed that there are not many social networking apps exclusively made for families. Different from traditional messaging apps, we decided to implement a map interface for users to communicate. Posts will be displayed on the Family Map, and users can easily navigate the map and explore the posts other family memebers have made.Project Website GitHub Repo Video Demo
This is our final project of the course. The objective of this 3D game is to control the UFO to dodge the asteroids and shoot bullets to destroy the asteroids. During SD Hacks, we attempted to build an augmented reality web application that locates where a car is parked. We implemented geolocation-tracking with HTML Geolocation API, location visualization with Google Maps API, and video data streaming with Media Capture and Streams API.
